How to play Riddlark
One hidden answer a day in each edition. Up to six clues. The fewer you need, the better your score.
A turn
Clue 1 is open when the puzzle loads. Guess after any clue: type a few letters, pick the answer from the list, and press Guess. Not sure yet? Reveal the next clue instead. A wrong guess opens the next clue too, and in Riddlark Airports it also tells you how far the guess is from the answer, and in which direction.
Your score
Your score is the number of clues you used: 1/6 is a solve on the first clue. You can still guess after clue 6 opens; if that guess misses, the result reads X/6 and the answer is shown. When the puzzle is done, every clue on the ladder opens so you can read the rest.
Share without spoilers
The results panel makes a row of blocks, one for each clue you climbed, with the puzzle number and the link. It never shows the answer, so friends can play the same puzzle.
Every day
A new puzzle opens at midnight on your own clock. Your streak counts the days in a row you finish a puzzle in an edition, and it appears from two days on. Your progress stays in this browser on this device, with no account to create.
